Hi friends. We're Alex and Selina.
This is our story.
Since I'm the developer of this very serious and extremely professional website, I figured I should be the one telling it.
So, one day back in university, I received what was probably the most important message of my entire life.
The international Buddy Program assigned me to guide a blonde German girl who had just arrived in Mexico and clearly needed a hero to save her.
Naturally, that hero was me.The moment I saw her first picture, I was done for. Completely finished. Instantly in love. Honestly, it was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me.
The cafeteria.
The message. The mission.
I still remember the first day I saw her in person. I was sitting in the cafeteria with my friends when suddenly I received a message from what looked like an actual supermodel saying she was lost and needed help.
Obviously, I took this mission very seriously.
I walked to the main entrance and started searching around for someone who looked… well… Mexican enough to be in the wrong place.
And then, in the distance, near another campus, I saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my entire life.
Turns out she had gone to the wrong university center. She was apparently trying to study with the social sciences crowd, but luckily I arrived in time to rescue her.
I hugged her with my incredibly muscular arms, of course.
This is a factual statement.The first time
I was actually nervous.
Before meeting her, I didn't even know what being nervous felt like. That was probably the first time in my life I had ever been genuinely nervous.
I can admit it now: from that exact moment, I fell hopelessly in love with her.
Thanks to my incredible sense of humor, my elite-level jokes, waiting for her after class even when I had absolutely nothing else to do, and bringing her Mexican food so she could experience real culture…
She eventually fell in love with me too.
I mean, what can I say. Who wouldn't?Despite my obviously irresistible charm…
Selina resisted my greatness for a few weeks. At some point I genuinely thought I had been sentenced to the friend zone forever.
Which was confusing, because she had already given me some very obvious signs.
At a Mexican party one night, around 2:00 AM, she suggested we go to my car because she had "forgotten sushi" in the trunk.
Looking back on this moment with the wisdom of an older and slightly less stupid man… yes, she absolutely wanted me to kiss her. And yes, I absolutely wanted to kiss her too.
But unfortunately, I was not intelligent enough to understand that I was supposed to make the first move.
She invited me
into her room.
I complimented the mirror.
"Wow, that's a really nice mirror."

instead of kissing her immediately like any normal person would have done
I saw a yoga mat and asked if she had a gym at home.
And then I looked at her bed and said it looked comfortable.
Absolute disaster.
Still, I remember we talked for hours that night, until very late. I drove home screaming internally because I regretted not doing anything.
She kissed me.
Just like that.
I personally remember that day as the day I got slightly drunk just to gather enough courage to finally do something about my feelings and claim what was obviously mine and had always been mine: her.
What I did not expect was for things to happen so suddenly.
At a friend's birthday party, I suggested we drink a little more to enjoy the night properly. While I was preparing the drinks, Selina looked at me with her beautiful eyes, her perfect smile, and her angelic face…
And then, completely disrespectfully and without asking for permission first, she kissed me.
And just like that, I got the best kiss of my life.
After that… well, the rest is history.
